The Breathing Space
                                    with Amulyanna

Hatha Yoga Teacher Training & Self-Study Program

                                                     Level II - 300/500  Hour

Now that you know how to teach asana, are you ready to study and embody the deeper truths of Yoga?!

Anna has been teaching the Level I, 200 hour program for 7 years in Blacksburg, VA from The Breathing Space. This Level II, 308 contact hour
program
is being offered as a result of enough interest generated by graduates of the Level I and is being offered  in 11, 4 - day sessions.  Noncontact
hours are acquired through teaching, viewing DVD's , the
internet, reading and practicum activities. In addition, this program is a work in progress.
Your needs and interests will be easily met through designing guest workshops and master classes as each session will include a Yoga Alliance
approved guest teacher.

The mission of this program is to design a supportive and heart centered venue through which all participants rise to their potential
in teaching and growing in their greater understanding of asana, skills in teaching,  as well as the 4 upper  limbs of Yoga.

Each 4-day session will include 2 days of presentation from  a YA approved guest teacher, as well as pranayama and meditation, teaching/assisting
inquiries and presentations, and time for pertinent questions and answers from students. Anna remains sole Director and Facilitator of the program
responsible for organizing guest staff at The Breathing Space for this program.  She is available for knowing your specific subject  requests as it relates
to the content of this program..

Admissions to this program includes presentation of your Certificate from the 200 hour program in which you participated and proof of at least
100 hours of teaching experience in any state.  These hours can include private, one-on-one teaching as well as group teaching in private and/or public
settings.   Once you fill out the provided application below, please send it to Anna who then will contact you for a phone conversation.  At this time,
any needs, questions, and preferances may be clarified for your optimum experience and acceptance into the program will be clarified. No hourly credit
can be given  or forwarded to those who may have begun and prematurely ended their participation in a different program.
Once a perspective participant has applied, Anna will notify them by phone or email to discuss the information provided on the application.  Acceptance
will
be verified during this phone call.
The deadline for participation in this program is September 1, 2009.

The Program will use homework and in-class inquiry as a mode for assessing progress. Books required for participation are listed on the application
and they are the students responsiblity to purchase.  Satisfactory progress is determined by those results as well as the students demonstration of
understanding and use of concepts through class presentations and teaching. These results are presented throughout the program as verbal and
written feedback given at the time of said inquiry or homework. Open communication is encouraged for the students opportunity to express their needs
for any change or addition in class content and presenation. Unsatisfactory grades or progress shall be examined immediately for solutions through
private consultation.
Given the length of the program, there should be ample time for each student to accelerate their progress, however if this does not happen, there will
be a 6 month probation period set to begin after the ending date of the program. During this time the student may continue to make the changes
necessary for bettering their grades and performance in order to secure a certificate.
In order for a student to be dismissed from the program, Anna would have to witness a severe conflict in the students affinity for class content or with
fellow
students.  This has never actually happened!  Please consider that readmittance would be remote as this program is offered infrequently...

Should their be a complaint, it is Anna's sincere desire that all parties involved find a solution within class contact, however if it cannot be resolved, the
student may file a complain with the State Council of Higher Education of Virginia. The student should submit written complaints to:

After writing said complaint, the student will not be subjected to unfair action or treatment as a result of the initiation of this complaint and further
participation in the program shall be assessed based on the needs of the student and the nature of the complaint.

At least one guest teacher planned will be offering optimal career advising strategies that may help the students in creating, sustaining, and evolving
their work in the field of Yoga.Anna, this guest teacher, nor this program however are involved in placement services for certified teachers.

Student Records:  All applications, signed ethic and financial agreements, along with written homework and absenceattendance  charts will be filed
and maintained by Anna. These records are maintained for the duration of the program after which all files may be returned to the student by request.
If the student does not care to receive these records, they will be disposed of by Anna... ie. burned in the fire pit by the creek!

Student Conduct: Students of Yoga are familiar with the ethics of the 8 limbed system.  These ethics provide a container for integress and honest
speech and action that is required not only as a student of this program, but as a Yogi!  Repetitive disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and will
result first in discussion with Anna, and second, in termination of participation.  Should a student be dismissed from the program and then he or she
appeals the dismissal, an interview with Anna would ensue to determine if continuing within the guidelines of the program is appropriate and in the
best interst for both the student and the program.

Attendance/Absence:  All missed time must be made up in order to receive a certificate of participation, therefore all missed time is unexcused.
These hours will be made up during a specific  makeup session whose date  will be decided upon by all participants and will occur after
the last date of the programs official calendar.  Absences are recorded on each students personal file used specificially to chart attendance.
No leave of absence is possible within this program.  Tardiness is considered missed time, so those hours will need to be made up as well...
